Advocacy is at the heart of MVNC's mission. By amplifying nonprofit voices, sharing information and opportunities, and connecting stakeholders through tools such as job and volunteer listings, a comprehensive nonprofit directory, and regular news updates, MVNC strengthens the visibility and collective impact of nonprofits across Martha's Vineyard.

To address shared workforce challenges, MVNC conducted Island-wide research and produced a data report on nonprofit compensation and benefits practices, offering organizations critical insights into the local employment landscape and hiring trends. MVNC further supports nonprofit recruitment by co-hosting an annual career fair in partnership with ACE MV and the Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce. Together, these advocacy efforts ensure that Island nonprofits are informed, connected, and equipped to build sustainable organizations and a strong workforce.
