MVNC offers several leadership intensives each year. These are typically multi-session, in-person workshops that cover a specific topic or help nonprofit teams work on a specific project. These programs often have limited registration, a small fee, and require multiple board and staff member participation. The goal of these intensives is for organizations to have time to work collaboratively within their team and within the cohort of nonprofits to address a topic or project that will move their organization forward.
Institute for Nonprofit Practice Each year MVNC partners with Tufts University to bring the Institute for Nonprofit Practice to island nonprofit leaders. This program is designed for current executive nonprofit leaders and emerging nonprofit leaders. The 7-month program differs from other professional development courses, with its emphasis placed equally on leadership, self-awareness, and personal growth.
