Using the power of the collective, the MVSSO membership brings together service providers, educational resources and other benefits to help nonprofits operating on Martha's Vineyard. The MVSSO membership aims to strengthen your operations and increase efficiencies so you can get back to doing the important work you do to support our island community. Our focus is on Human Resources (HR), IT and Technology, and Communications and Marketing with some additional local and operational benefits.

    Who can join? 

    Any nonprofit 501c3 that is based on or operates on Martha's Vineyard is welcome to join the program. We will ask for your EIN number or proof of 1099 to confirm your nonprofit status. 


    How to Join

    Membership Fees: Membership fees are $150 per organization for the 2022 pilot year, thanks to the generous support of the MVNC Board of Directors, Martha's Vineyard Community Foundation and The Tower Foundation. Membership fees are due once a year from the date you sign up and enables access to membership benefits for all your employees.

    HR Office Hours

    Have a simple HR question? Join this one hour conversation with a local HR consultant and have a chance to ask your brief HR questions, get advice on an HR issue you are working with or give feedback on HR topics you would like to hear more about from MVNC. In order to facilitate deeper discussion, space is limited to 4 MVSSO member organizations. 

    Marketing Roundtable

    Have a question about telling your story or want to run through a marketing idea for this summer season? Join this one hour conversation with local marketing professionals and have a chance to ask your brief marketing questions, get advice on telling your story or asking for donations online, or give feedback on marketing and communications topics you would like to hear more about from MVNC. In order to facilitate deeper discussion, space is limited to 6 MVSSO member organizations.

    Preferred Providers

    We have worked hard to reach out to local businesses and consultants focusing on IT, marketing, communications, tech support, human resources, bookkeeping, and more to compile a list of preferred providers for our MVSSO program. If you are a service provider on the island that caters to nonprofits, let us know. We'd be happy to talk to you about how you can be a MVSSO provider and support our island's nonprofit community.
