MVYRADIO NIGHT OUT FOR NONPROFITS

MVYRADIO has made the decision to postpone the Second Annual Night Out For Nonprofits which was scheduled for this Friday, March 13^th at the PA Club in Oak Bluffs.

After consulting with local authorities, health care professionals, and staff involved in the event, as well as receiving numerous messages from potential attendees, we feel the responsible course of action is to hold the event at a later date.

On Tuesday, Governor Charlie Baker declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts due to the spreading coronavirus and the quickly increasing number of cases in the state.  Although there is no reported outbreak on Martha’s Vineyard, state officials are recommending limiting large gatherings as a precaution to help mitigate the potential spread of the virus.

We plan to reschedule the MVYRADIO Night Out For Nonprofits at a time when we can comfortably and responsibly bring together dozens of nonprofit representatives and scores of Island residents.

We thank all who have worked hard to prepare for the event, and apologize for the inconvenience of having to reschedule.
