The Executive Director of KPM Consulting, LLC, Dan is a dedicated Information Technology Auditor and Project Manager with noted expertise in IT Compliance and IT project implementations. Dan has helped clients develop and implement IT control programs, including training and supporting client’s internal audit teams on IT systems and business operations that run on and are supported by vendor supported (enterprise and cloud) applications. Dan has technical, compliance, and project management knowledge and skill sets that are based on a foundation developed during an 18-year career in Underwriting and Systems in the Personal Lines market of Liberty Mutual Insurance. While at Liberty Mutual Dan was the Project Lead of the Personal Market Financial System group’s internal Sarbanes- Oxley compliance effort, and worked with the internal audit team on development of control identification and testing protocols. Dan has been an IT Consultant since 2005, including as a founding member of Viper Consulting, Inc, a Boston-based IT consulting firm which was subsequently acquired and rebranded into the current KPM Consulting. Dan has helped lead KPM Consulting to a robust audit practice including Sarbanes Oxley, SOC2/SSAE18, Cloud based platforms (SaaS and IaaS), Risk Management, and Business Continuity. Dan’s clients include biopharmaceutical researchers and manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, financial services, non-profits, business to business, and business to government. Dan is certified as a Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
