Now more than ever, nonprofit Board of Directors must be prepared, activated, and ready to engage in work that is focused on achieving diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and justice. Persistent systemic inequities require that leaders have the “mindset” to advance and accelerate work that impacts and achieves outcomes that center equity. So, what’s getting in the way of many boards is their personal and collective mindsets that are often rooted in resistance, defensiveness, and false narratives directly related to the communities their organizations serve. 

So, what’s a mindset, how is it formed and how can we develop an equity mindset. 

This webinar will focus on the following:

1. Understand the tenets of an equity mindset.

2. Complete an equity mindset survey that will highlight typical mindset challenges.

3. Understand the importance of social and cultural narratives and their impact and influence on equity mindset priorities.
