Session Two – Reimagining and Deepening Impact 

Grounded in best practices and research on DEI, this session will identify various levers and strategies for effecting change. We will set the stage for the ongoing nature of the DEI journey, with an eye toward how boards and organizations can integrate DEI in their culture, processes, and practices. Along the way, we will engage the participants in conversations about:

• Assumptions and biases that need to be challenged
• The role of the board of directors in setting the tone at the top and leading authentically
• How to identify guiding principles and priorities
• The importance of centering the voices of underrepresented communities and sharing power
