Practice Your Ask is a unique opportunity to practice asking for what you need in a non-threatening, low-risk, and supportive environment. Join your colleagues for a lively hour of learning, practicing, and networking. Most appropriate for nonprofit staff and/or board/committee members of organizations raising more than $250,000 per year.

About Barbara

Barbara Bellissimo brings decades of experience raising over $30M for nonprofits across Martha’s Vineyard and the US. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Development, Marketing and Communications at Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, where she led efforts to raise over $2M annually and an additional $8M to build a state-of-the-art early childhood center. She is currently working to build fundraising capacity in Island nonprofits through her consulting business Bellissimo Consulting.
