MVNC offers over 20 workshops and events each year. Our single-session, online or in-person workshops are free to attend and cover specific topics ranging from HR101 and Nonprofit Benefits to Fundraising, Technology, Marketing, and more! In 2025, our workshops served 242 staff and board members, from over 100 Island nonprofits, with the essential tools, skills, and resources they need to help their organizations thrive.

In addition to these training workshops, we also host regular networking gatherings that provide nonprofit staff and board members with the opportunity to socialize, connect, and skill share. Past MVNC events have led to multi-organization partnerships like the formation of ArtsMV and Health Aging MV that continue to tackle systemic Island issues today.

Each year, we continue to add workshops that address timely challenges for nonprofits based on annual feedback from our nonprofit community. In addition to this, there are several topics and events we revisit each year as part of our core programming.
