MVNC with nonprofit governance expert Nanette Fridman invite Island Board Chairs and Executive Directors to join us and explore the role of leadership during this time of COVID-19. We will be looking into the role of the board and the role of the executive director when faced with crisis. 

Topics to include:

• Identify the additional roles and expectations of board members during a crisis:
• Articulate the role of board chair vis-a-vis their board and the Executive
• Clarify the expectations of management vs. the board during a crisis
• Assess how your organization can take now to assess the short-term and long-term financial impact of COVID-19
• What do you need to know or do to come out of this stronger than ever?
• Island voices - hear from organizational leaders about what they have done that's working and what remains a significant challenge.

Nanette Fridman, MPP, JD, is a strategist and coach for values-driven organizations and leaders. She is the President of Fridman Strategies, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in governance, fundraising, strategic planning, and leadership and team development.
