This complex conversation supports the ability of nonprofit boards to assemble diverse board members and create an inclusive and welcoming board community. Robin will explore the nine board building steps previously mentioned and discuss practical strategies that Island board members can do to increase their board's diversity broadly across multiple diversity criteria.
We will also discuss practices, requirements, and narratives that serve to limit diversity and prevent inclusivity.
