Join us to learn more about our 2025 Board Leader Training Session and if it is right for you or your board members. This multi-session training is designed for new and emerging nonprofit board leaders ready to strengthen their impact through effective governance, collaboration, and mission-focused leadership. Participants gain practical tools, insights, and peer support to lead confidently alongside fellow board members and staff.
The Board Leader Training:
Covers core governance concepts, frameworks, and best practices grounded in real-world examples and current challenges;
Creates a collaborative space for candid discussion, case studies, and shared learning;
Builds a lasting peer network for continued support and problem-solving
This training is ideal for board members with at least one year of board service who are currently in their first years of a leadership role or preparing to step into one. While not required, we encourage boards to send two participants together to maximize shared learning and application.
The Board Leader Training will take place over 4 sessions on Tuesdays in September, October, and November 2025.
