2026 Board Leader Training

Our board leader training program will be launching a new cohort in April 2026.

This four-session training module is designed for new and emerging nonprofit board leaders ready to strengthen their impact through effective governance, collaboration, and mission-focused leadership.

Participants gain practical tools, insights, and peer support to lead confidently alongside fellow board members and staff.

The Board Leader Training:

• Covers core governance concepts, frameworks, and best practices grounded in real-world examples and current challenges;

• Creates a collaborative space for candid discussion, case studies, and shared learning;

• Builds a lasting peer network for continued support and problem-solving

This training is ideal for board members with at least one year of board service. While not required, we encourage boards to send two participants together to maximize shared learning and application.

The Board Leader Training module will take place in person over 4 sessions. Thursdays April 23, May 7, May 21 and June 4.
