Building Resilience and Operational Agility
Presented by Curtis Strategy

Wednesday, March 4 | 9:00 AM–1:00 PM | Virtual (Zoom)
MVNC is pleased to offer this half-day training designed to help nonprofit leaders navigate uncertainty, respond to market pressures, and build organizations that are resilient, adaptive, and mission-aligned.
Founded in 2008, Curtis Strategy works collaboratively with organizations to align the right resources, design innovative strategies, and develop customized plans that support long-term growth and sustainability. Their expertise includes strategic planning, organizational design, succession planning, board governance, and merger and affiliation (M&A) strategy.
Session Overview
This interactive session equips leaders with practical tools for environmental scanning—the process of identifying emerging threats, shifting conditions, and untapped opportunities in an increasingly complex landscape. Participants will move beyond guesswork to assess their organization’s true readiness for change.
The training also focuses on developing adaptive strategies that allow organizations to pivot effectively when traditional approaches no longer work. Together, we will explore both the operational and cultural dimensions of change, with a strong emphasis on keeping mission as the organizational “North Star” during times of transition.
This program is ideal for organizations that feel growing market pressure but are unsure where it is coming from—or know change is needed but are struggling with how to move forward.
Key Outcomes
Participants will leave with:
-
A Diagnostic Map of their current environment and a clear understanding of the external forces affecting long-term sustainability
-
An Execution Framework for making mission-aligned decisions in uncertain conditions
-
Practical tools for managing the human side of organizational change, including alignment, communication, and transition
